Wij zijn Vocal Ecstasy, een ambitieuze en gepassioneerde vocal group van vrouwen tussen 20 en 50 jaar. Met popmuziek als onze grote liefde zoeken we voortdurend naar de perfecte combinatie van vocale kwaliteit, ritme, expressie en performance. We zingen voornamelijk a capella, waarbij elke stem een onmisbare schakel vormt in het geheel.
Onze thuisbasis is Scherpenheuvel-Zichem, maar onze groep brengt vrouwen samen uit een ruime regio: van Antwerpen tot Diest, van Zuster(en) in Nederland tot Herent en alles daartussen en errond. Wat ons verbindt, is niet onze woonplaats, maar onze passie voor vocale muziek en de ambitie om telkens opnieuw het beste uit onszelf te halen.
Onder leiding van dirigent Evi Bex leggen we de lat hoog. We werken voortdurend aan onze vocale techniek, samenzang, ritmische precisie, muzikaliteit én podiumprésence. Want voor ons gaat een goede uitvoering verder dan de juiste noten: we willen muziek voelen én laten voelen.
Wedstrijden en koorfestivals in binnen- en buitenland vormen een belangrijk onderdeel van onze werking. Ze dagen ons uit om te blijven groeien, nieuwe grenzen te verleggen en ons als groep te meten met andere sterke vocal groups en koren. Daarnaast zetten we graag onze schouders onder bijzondere projecten en verrassende optredens.

We are Vocal Ecstasy, an ambitious and passionate vocal group of women aged between 20 and 50. With pop music at the heart of what we do, we are constantly striving for the perfect combination of vocal quality, rhythm, expression and performance. We sing primarily a cappella, with every voice playing an essential part in the whole.
Our home base is Scherpenheuvel-Zichem, Belgium, but our members come from a wide area: from Antwerp to Diest, from Zuster(en) in the Netherlands to Herent and everywhere in between. What brings us together is not where we live, but our shared passion for vocal music and our ambition to keep pushing ourselves to the next level.
Under the direction of conductor Evi Bex, we set the bar high. We continuously work on our vocal technique, blend, rhythmic precision, musicianship and stage presence. Because for us, a great performance goes beyond singing the right notes: we want to feel the music — and make others feel it too.
Competitions and choir festivals in Belgium and abroad are an important part of our journey. They challenge us to keep growing, to push our boundaries and to measure ourselves against other strong vocal groups and choirs. At the same time, we love taking part in exciting projects and special performances that allow us to explore new musical possibilities.
